Lesson Activity Part 1- Group Research Exercise Using Diigo!
Split learners into groups (the number depends on your class size/topics you wish to assign).
Step 1
Assign each group with a research topic e.g. give each group a sub topic to research in depth.
Step 2
Each learner should work alone to find interesting articles, blogs, videos and images for their topic.
Step 3
Ask students to sign up to Diigo free account using this link: https://www.diigo.com/sign-up?plan=free
Step 4
Once learners have signed up, ask each group to make a group under the tab “My Groups”.
Step 5
Ask learners to use this group to save useful and interesting research they have found. This allows all members of the group to share findings in real time!
Step 6
Ask learners how the felt about activity, discover what their impression is of the Diigo tool.
Step 7
